Welcome to Children’s Thrift! We aim to provide a positive shopping experience while supporting local families and beyond with affordable, quality items. Please review our store policies below to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES 

• Clothing, Shoes, and Accessories: All sales are final. Due to the nature of thrifted items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless the item was defective at the time of purchase.

• Toys and Equipment: Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase for store credit only. Items must be returned in the same condition as purchased, along with the original receipt.

CONSIGNMENT & DONATIONS

• Consignment items must adhere to the guidelines outlined in our Consignment Policy. Unsold items after the 6-month consignment period become the property of Children’s Thrift.

• Donations are gratefully accepted during store hours. Please ensure items are clean, in good condition, and free of stains, tears, or excessive wear.

PRICING

• Prices are final and non-negotiable.

• We strive to price items fairly based on condition, brand, and demand.

PAYMENT METHODS

• We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and store credit.

• Payments by check are not accepted.

STORE CREDIT

• Store credit from consignment sales or returns can be used for purchases. Credit balances remain active for 3 years.

• Only the consignor or an authorized individual may use store credit.

IN STORE SAFETY & LIABILITY

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Children’s Thrift is not responsible for accidents or injuries occurring on the premises.

• We take every precaution to ensure the safety of our items, but Children’s Thrift is not liable for defects in second-hand items.

SEASONAL INVENTORY

• Seasonal clothing and items are stocked based on demand and availability. Please call ahead or check our website for updates on current inventory.

CODE OF CONDUCT

• Treat staff and fellow shoppers with respect.

• Refrain from damaging or mishandling merchandise.

• Shoplifting will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the store and possible legal action.
